OK, possibly not. I'm still running 4.3.5 on my iPhone and I've just registered that for ECS-WLAN and I can't connect, though Eduroam works fine. My laptop in the same room has no issues whatsoever. Most bizarre. Will report back as-and-when I know more.

In the mean-time, are there any reasons as to why people are reluctant to use eduroam instead? It is meant as a better service. :-)
