Hi mc,
Is there any reason that you need to connect to ECS-WLAN? I know someone else who has been having trouble connecting to it recently (today), so perhaps there is a bigger problem with registrations (that ought to be reported to the systems team if that's the case). However, eduroam should work nicely. Have you tried eduroam recently? It was much improved over the summer and should give you a much better experience.
