What do you mean by "our own secure cloud"?
We already provide filestore and file sharing services (and have done so
for well over 20 years), a virtual server hosting service, a web hosting
service, a project hosting service, source code repositories, etc, etc.
ZendTo (dropoff.soton.ac.uk) is another way of transferring files around.
