[OSX-Users] Bizarre Spotlight

Well, I have been having trouble with Spotlight not displaying Mail results (as have a lot of people over the years on the Web).
It displays them to 2007, bit not after.
Tried all the usual stuff to rebuild the index, trash the Envelope, etc. but no change.

But then I realised that search "Entire MEssage" worked within Mail, and this uses spotlight.
So I tried the magnifying glass box, and found it works fine.
Then I discovered that using the window shortcut also works fine.
So the index etc. are fine.
So it is just that I use command-F to bring up search in the Finder!

Yep, hard to believe, but two identical-looking Finder windows have different results - see attached shot.
The top window was brought up using option-command-space and the bottom one command-f.

So now I know, it won't be a problem, and I can stop wasting time trying to track it down; but thought I would post in case someone else has the same or someone actually knows what is happening!
Cheers
