Helpful to have it all laid out.
Mind you, once I have alt-booted I might just go into Boot Camp and stay in Windows :-)
Do you think one or other might help?
A painful problem is that after Safari has been running for any length of time, downloading a file causes it to crash.
Would a simple re-install help, or do I need to go for the full monty?
(Which is why I have been putting it off.)
