that much is simple -- the telecoms companies will charge an absolute fortune for downloading
data, just like with a mobile contract.
Personally I was thinking of getting a variety of local pay as you go micro-sim cards when travelling
since the ipad isn't locked to any particular carrier. It is certain to be a lot cheaper. Of course we could
always create an ECS store of pay-as-you-go sim cards that we could share but that might be slightly
complicated.
