[OSX-Users] ipad data plan in UK?

so  anyone know if we have to go through ISS for ipad purchases to 
get a data plan?? - as with an iphone?

anyone planning on getting one?? and if so, 1,3 or 5 gigs/month?

it's not entirely clear what happens when traveling.
anyone?

that's from apple; Orange says uk only - can't tell at voda or o2.
