[OSX-Users] Mail app - adding imap account?

Hi,

Been trying to add IMAP account(s) on my Mac laptop for two ECS accounts I have, but if I put in tjc at ecs.soton.ac.uk as my mail address the Mail app will only find the Exchange service running for ECS and set that up for me - it doesn't give any option to manually override that to configure an IMAP account.   If I let the Exchange setup complete, it doesn't seem possible to edit that account to be an IMAP one.

Has anyone here run into this before?

Odd as the IMAP setup on my desktop Mac - which admittedly I did some time ago - wasn't a problem.

Doesn't seem to be a manual 'add account' option, it will only autodetect for you.    I wonder how the autodetect is happening...

Anyway, I can dig deeper but if it's something obvious I'm missing I'd rather hear it first :)
