[OSX-Users] installer followup: found but it's memory was lost

well it wasn't lost - the installer ap - but it seems that the link 
connecting packages to the installer was.

i found it's path by booting it up via an install of a package on the 
other mac and the did ps -x to find running processes, which gives 
the path

but there must be a better way!

it's interesting that the system folder isn't included in "find"

odd behaviour, no?
