RAID 1 using four drives of identical model and age installed in a  
single unit for the purpose of write-once-then-lock-away archiving  
sounds like a complete waste of storage/money to me. One little  
building fire and it's all gone.

Buy a couple of different 2TB externals (given ebuyer, probably  
looking at ~£200 total) and stick them as far away from each-other as  
practicality allows instead?
