[OSX-Users] ipad dreams

I was thinking today about what the ipad would be great for and this is my
current dream -- an ipad controlled lab. If you could put something like 
labview on the ipad and then build a dock which had gpib and serial ports
then you could control almost all bits of lab equipment remotely. Imagine
a virtual instrument you could control with multi-touch and which would
automatically log all your results. 

it would be like every star-trek lab you have ever seen on TV.
