[OSX-Users] $ in WEP password

There's a wifi access point (A BT Hub) which I always have trouble 
connecting to; it fails DHCP and I get a "self assigned IP", and no 
router etc.

I found an amazingly weird solution... putting "$" at the start of the 
WEP password fixes the issue. Anyone else encountered this?
