Another way to ask your question might be

"did you know this was a known bug with the OS2 version of the ipod
browser"

do you have a link to where a bug that has this weird display problem is
cited? 

that would be helpful as i have not found anything in my searches so am
keen to learn what the magic words are to return the result so that i
wouldn't have bothered people here with what it seems is a known issue tho
unknown to me.
