If you're wondering how the internals are laid out in the new Mac  
Mini, iFixit have conveniently systematically dissected one:

In particular, if you have a ruthless disregard for your warranty, no  
need for an optical drive (they get Air-style Remote Disc working,  
though), and a willingness to forcefully pry apart half a grand of  
designer computer, DIY extra-large dual-hard-drive upgrades are  
possible:
