The ECS eduroam password is the otherwise-mythical "wireless password"  
which you can set at https://secure.ecs.soton.ac.uk/wireless-  it is  
(and must be) different to your usual ECS password.

As for getting central credentials to work, pass, no idea. You could  
ask serviceline... ;-)
