Downloaded, installed and running great on a 1st gen iPod touch here.  
I think I managed to get in before the rush - the download only took  
about 2 minutes for 250MB, and I'm told that Apple's servers were  
hammered last night and had fallen over a little bit.

There's a new feature in the Wi-Fi prefs that I haven't tried yet but  
should be great for iPod touch users in the University: auto-login to  
hotspots. I'll give it a go next time I'm on campus...
