[MindsCDT-students] Project selection & slides from pitching event

Hi folks,

Primarily PAO Cohort 3.

The slides from yesterday evening are in the same folder on Teams as the project proposals and sign-up sheet. Please read through the proposals and indicate your interests by Monday 15th Nov. Emma will then send introductory emails to you and the supervisors concerned.

If you’re keen to start discussing projects before then, feel free to email the supervisors directly.

Remember that the CDT are investing in you, not any specific project. Consider as many options as you like. Go to meetings with potential supervisors with your ideas and perspective on the research. Speak to your colleagues in Cohorts 1 and 2. Feel free to chat to members of the management team.

The next step is the student/supervisor agreement. This is attached for you to read through. Ideally, we’d like to settle on projects before the start of Semester 2. The earlier the better, because your MIND6002 submissions could be focussed on your research project area.
