Hi all,
Jacob Hollebon and Prof Filippo Fazi from the ISVR are looking for participants for a listening test related to 3D audio experiences.
Participation in the test would be a good opportunity to find out more about spatial audio as well as the type of experiments that are required in the audio world.
Best,
Christine

Dear All
I am looking for volunteers to participate in a 3D audio listening test running between 18th August – 1st September. 3D audio loudspeaker systems can create the illusion of sound anywhere around you, and can use specialist head tracking to adapt the audio depending on what direction you look in. As part of my PhD research, we have developed a new approach to achieve this, which as part of this test you will get to listen to and rank alongside other state of the art 3D audio sound systems. The tests will also be performed in our large anechoic chamber, a specialist soundproofed and non-reverberant room. The experiment will only take approximately an hour and a half.
If you are interested in participating, could you please fill out the form linked below by Wednesday 11th August to register your interest. I will then be in touch to confirm your booking slot. Please feel free to share this with any other colleagues or students you think might be interested.
