[maps.soton] Indoor Milestones

Now that indoor data is being published on maps.southampton.ac.uk, it
would probably be a good idea to try to make this as complete and
correct as possible.

The first milestone that I was working towards was mapping all the
workstation rooms. This is nearly achieved, as there are only few
missing in the Library and the Parkes Building.

The second, much larger milestone is probably to have all the teaching
rooms [1] on the map. I have written a page to try and help understand
this task [2]. The number in the green box indicates the number of
unmapped teaching rooms, and it logs some overall statistics to the
console. The building popups have also been modified to show only the
teaching rooms.

Total mapped teaching rooms: 162
Total un-mapped teaching rooms: 189
Percentage done: 46%

The data looks quite promising, as nearly half the teaching rooms are on
the map.

I am interested in any ideas on how to get the rest of the rooms on the
map? Unfortunately, editing the indoor data on OpenStreetMap is not a
particularly simple task.

I recently attempted to map level 1 of the Murray building. This went
ok, however, I found it very difficult to guess the sizes and relative
positions of some of the rooms. This is probably evident if you look at
the map [3]. I am of the opinion that while this data lacks absolute
spatial accuracy, the relative positions of the rooms is still very
helpful when trying to find them.
