and interactive forum for implementers of Open Science. The 3-day event will critically evaluate the requirements for the transition to Open Science.

</span></b><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black;mso-fareast-language:PT">Open Science as an emerging paradigm is increasingly being adopted into standard research practice. However the challenges it faces to be successfully implemented
are numerous. Such barriers include the inertia of old research habits accompanied by lack of incentive from institutional and funder reward systems. A skills and competencies gap slows down doing open research, compounded by a lack of non-user friendly tools
and services which are only partially embedded in researchers workflows, with little connection to non-academic communities. The OS FAIR will explore how sustainable research support structures can be put in place to increasingly make research responsible,
collaborative, innovative and, ultimately, open. </span><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;mso-fareast-language:PT"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
