<span style="color:black">of growing <b>universal open access to research</b> while containing the escalating costs associated with for-profit journals, we invite you to join us for the 4<sup>th</sup> Global ESAC Workshop,
<b>Transformative Agreements in Practice</b> on <b>28-29 May 2019</b> at the Max Planck Digital Library offices in Munich, Germany.</span></span><o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="color:black">The aim of the workshop is empower our community with deeper knowledge and insight into the workings of transformative agreements, which will, in turn, inform and strengthen our strategies. Building
on the consensus achieved at the <a href="https://oa2020.org/b14-conference/final-statement/">
14<sup>th</sup> Berlin Open Access Conference</a> and the body of data being collected in the
<a href="http://esac-initiative.org/about/transformative-agreements/agreement-registry/">
