<html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html charset=us-ascii"></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space;" class=""><div class="">Hi</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Based on a decision by the National Research Council, all publications produced in Swiss National Science Foundation-funded projects are to be OA as of 2020:</div><div class=""><a href="http://www.snf.ch/en/researchinFocus/newsroom/Pages/news-171213-100-percent-open-access-to-snsf-research.aspx" class="">http://www.snf.ch/en/researchinFocus/newsroom/Pages/news-171213-100-percent-open-access-to-snsf-research.aspx</a></div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">In order to achieve that goal the existing OA-Policy has been changed, starting in April 2018:</div><div class=""><a href="http://www.snf.ch/en/theSNSF/research-policies/open-access/Pages/default.aspx#OA 2020 Policy" class="">http://www.snf.ch/en/theSNSF/research-policies/open-access/Pages/default.aspx#OA%202020%20Policy</a></div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Probably the most significant change is that the SNSF will insist that articles that are not published Gold OA in the first place, must be available Green OA at latest 6 month after publication date. In case a journal/publisher does not allow self-archiving of the accepted version within 6 months, this journal/ publisher cannot be selected by authors anymore.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">On the other hand the SNSF continues the funding of articles and books and now also for book chapters.
