</o:shapelayout></xml><![endif]--></head><body lang=EN-GB link=blue vlink=purple><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal>SHERPA Services are pleased to announce two upgrades to SHERPA/FACT (<a href="http://www.sherpa.ac.uk/fact/">www.sherpa.ac.uk/fact/</a>) - the tool that helps authors check if their journal complies with their funder’s open access requirements.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Firstly, we have added five new funders – Arthritis Research UK, Breast Cancer Campaign, British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research UK, and Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. These research charities are all members of COAF (Charities Open Access Fund), along with the Wellcome Trust, which was already covered by SHERPA/FACT.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Secondly, we have simplified the interface for routine use, while retaining an “advanced mode” for more complex queries.
