An announcement has been made showing that Scielo's citation index will be incorporated inside the Web of Science, at least in parts.<br>

PS The consequences of this move are twofold: much greater visibility, and presumably, prestige for Scielo journals, but also much greater vulnerability to the moves by international publishers interested in picking up potentilly lucrative Scielo publications. We shall see. <br>
