for information, Ifremer adds two new directories - <a href="http://annuaire.ifremer.fr/tree.jsp?la=en">teams</a> and <a href="http://annuaire.ifremer.fr/map.jsp?la=en">sites</a> - to its
existing <a href="http://annuaire.ifremer.fr/?la=en">staff
directory.</a> The bibliography of each item (author, scientific
department, research unit, laboratory, site) is generated
automatically through <a href="http://archimer.ifremer.fr/">Archimer</a>,
its Institutional repository.<br>
<br>
<b> This project has had a real impact on the number of documents
deposited in Archimer</b> : many scientists have indeed completed
their production into Archimer to get a complete bibliography in the
staff directory. This kind of service, praised by scientists,
rewards the centralization effort imposed by Ifremer's 2010
mandatory deposit program.<br>
<br>
Today, Archimer and the other directories account for :<br>
<ul>
<li>100% of Ifremer's full-text publications since 2000
(including 80% open access publications since 2005)</li>
<li>Almost 100% of its expertise since 2009</li>
<li>100% of laboratories, units, sites and scientific departments</li>
<li>100% of its employees (96% of which come out when browsing the
Internet)</li>
</ul>
This new set of interconnected information proves very similar to a
<a href="http://www.eurocris.org/">CRIS</a> (Current Research
Information System): It improves the visibility of Ifremer on the
Internet. The analysis of this cross-sectional data can also help to
pilot Ifremer.<br>
