Dear all,

we invite life science researchers to join us for a "Preprints 101 for
authors <bit.ly/Preprints101Authors>" event on Jun 21, 13:00 CEST to
find out more on the author's perspective of posting preprints.

This webinar is organised by ASAPbio <https://asapbio.org/>, a
scientist-driven nonprofit that promotes the productive use of preprints
in the life sciences, and Europe PMC <https://europepmc.org/>, a
literature database that hosts over 300,000 preprints alongside journal
publications, with a special contribution from Sumeet Pal Singh
<https://asapbio.org/dt_team/sumeet-pal-singh>, a group leader at
IRIBHM, ULB and a preprint author.

In this webinar we will talk about preprints and their benefits for
authors, the process of selecting the right preprint server, dealing
with community reviews, and other things to consider before posting a
preprint. We will also provide some tips on how to find relevant
preprints, cite and track your own preprint citations, and claim
preprints to ORCID.

This event is a part of EMBL-EBI Training courses. Please register
before attending: bit.ly
<bit.ly/Preprints101Authors>/Preprints101Authors
<bit.ly/Preprints101Authors>.

Best wishes,

Maria, on behalf of the Europe PMC team
