I understand.

My proposal is a working solution. No more operator is needed. Jitsi is
much simpler than zoom. No installation required. Just point everyone to
the URL https://meet.jit.si/elife and voilà. You can try before.

A small question that could help ? How many participants do you expect ?
More than 100 or not ?
