To celebrate Open Access Week 2017, the OA2020 Initiative is delighted to announce the launch of its expanded website and renews the call to libraries and institutions worldwide to divest of the traditional subscription system in order to finance innovative, sustainable and transparent scholarly publishing models. The new site also highlights how OA2020 aligns with the many voices in the open access landscape that share the common vision of making open the default in scholarly communications. A video presentation illustrates the current situation of the publishing industry illustrating how OA2020 can bring a change about, in synergy with the various oa initatives and strategies, such as the green route, cooperative models, and genuine open access publishers:
