[GOAL] INVITATION - Open Access Event at AAAS, 19 Sunday 6:30pm

Hi all,

Wanted to circulate some information on an open access reception<https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/open-access-to-scientific-research-tickets-30894968683> being held this weekend at the annual meeting of AAAS in Boston.

I know this is an international listserv, but we would be grateful if you would forward this invitation along to any networks or colleagues that may be attending AAAS, and/or are interested in OA.

The event will include a panel discussion, where some prominent OA voices - including Trevor Mundel of the Gates Foundation, Harvard geneticist George Church and founder of ResearchGate, Ijad Madisch - will engage in a dynamic and honest conversation about OA and the promises and challenges that lie ahead. A cocktail reception will follow.
