Dear colleagues,
Today marks the official launch of OA2020:
http://oa2020.org
OA2020 is an international transformation initiative, hosted at the Max Planck Digital Library. It aims to induce the swift, smooth and scholarly-oriented transformation of today’s scholarly journals from subscription to open access publishing.
OA 2020 is based on the results of the Berlin 12 Conference on Open Access in December 2015. Key documents are the Expression of Interest and the Transformation Roadmap.
The 30 initial signatories from around the world are listed there as well: http://oa2020.org/mission/ .
Naturally, the EoI continues to be open for further endorsement – so please consider your support!
Today’s launch was accompanied by a press release of the Max Planck Society:

You can follow OA2020 on Twitter: @oa2020ini
Best regards,
Kai Geschuhn
