[GOAL] Job opportunity: Open Research Coordinator at the Wellcome Trust

If you are passionate about open access and data sharing and interested in helping the Wellcome Trust maximise the societal impact of its research spend, then you may be interested in applying for the role of Open Research Co-ordinator.



The postholder will help to support the implementation of Wellcome’s open access policy, including managing the delivery and funding of Europe PMC and supporting new and existing initiatives related to open research.



Working in a small team, you will be responsible for:



• liaising with internal and external stakeholders (including other funders and publishers)

• initiating and managing a range of projects to increase awareness of and compliance with our open access policy.



You'll need to keep abreast of UK and international developments in open access and open research. And you'll be required to speak at conferences and to represent Wellcome on relevant committees and in other discussions.
