Dear participants,
I wonder if anyone here feels like contributing
a guest post for dnadigest.org
addressing Open Access. It should be rather short
(max 800 words) and explain the concept of OA for
the general public:
- what is the OA movement
- when, why and how it started
- what problem(s) it wants to solve
- why the problem(s) still does not want to be solved (even with OA)
- why is sharing on academia/researchgate not OA and how to deal with this.
DNAdigest.org is a Cambridge-based charity that is promoting ethical and
efficient genomic data sharing. We organise symposiums and hackdays, issue
newsletters and maintain a blog dedicated to this topic.
If you want to contribute please e-mail me at nadia at dnadigest.org or just
reply to this e-mail.
Kind regards,
Nadia
