Dear colleagues,
Last year Max Planck Digital Library together with Max Planck PhDnet started a new Open Access campaign in the Max Planck Society called "OPEN ACCESS AMBASSADORS": To strengthen the idea of Open Access within the community of young researchers, we wanted to train early career researchers, who are sent as representatives from each Max Planck Institute to become OPEN ACCESS AMBASSADORS. They should become advocates for Open Access and Open Science in order to carry these concepts into their local research communities.
To build up the Ambassadors network and to pass on knowledge on Open Access ad Open Science, we organized the first Ambassadors conference from December 3rd-4th in Munich, Germany. Today, a first review on the conference has been published on our website. If you like to learn more about the Ambassadors, please visit:

The Ambassadors' website is at:

With best regards from Munich,
