Dear colleagues,

 

This is to announce the new EC Gold Open Access Pilot to be shortly launched within the OpenAIRE2020 project to support the post-grant FP7 project Open Access publishing needs. The Gold OA Pilot, to be coordinated by LIBER in close collaboration with OpenAIRE, will make available a EUR 4m Open Access fund for post-grant FP7 project researchers.

 

Following early discussions with the OA community held late January at the OpenAIRE2020 kick-off meeting in Athens, the Gold OA Pilot will shortly release its policy guidelines, which will keep in mind the advisability to promote a fair Gold OA model.
