Of course, in the animus list Jean-Claude could have added Elsevier’s funding of the ridiculous PRISM initiative designed to disseminate mis-information about Open Access, Elsevier’s continued double-dipping through hybrid OA (which Alicia, very politely, denies exists but which still siphons huge extra additional profits for Elsevier from the Higher education community), or their secret meetings with UK Government ministers.
