In response to the press fanfare about making all UK research OA within two years, 3 French learned societies warn French policy-makers about imposing Gold OA (article processing charges) along these lines in France.
Being good mathematicians, they have done their calculations and reveal the perverse effects of the system hidden under the name of [Gold] Open Access publishing.
