[GOAL] Leaving the debate on the meaning of OA

Dear All:

This was a useful debate and we have all
learned something from the discussion, but 
we are now in danger of going in circles and 
simply putting each other into trenches. Let's 
accept that not everyone agrees on everything, 
but re-confirm that we are all struggling for
the same goal.

Unless something startlingly new is posted
on the subject, I will no longer be responding
to postings on Gratis vs Libre OA or about
the pro's and con's of lowering the bar.
