Burger makers are paid for their product. Murdoch's admirable coterie of conscientious, paid journalists are paid for their texts. JW has wiki-gnomes webwide doing what they do for him for free.

Meanwhile, the providers of OA are the authors of peer-reviewed research articles, and they are not providing OA. 

Where do you see the basis for applying the McDonalds, Murdoch, Wiki-Wales experience and expertise in "effective distribution" to the cracking of this longstanding nut?
