<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Virtual Engagement Activities<o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">As we continue to operate in a virtual world, how can the Turing continue to connect across its network? As mentioned at the Turing Catch-up, we are looking for ideas for virtual engagement activities and platforms
through which to deliver them. They don’t just have to be just research focused but could also be ideas for training, social activities or simply how to work better in a virtual environment - all ideas are welcome. <p class="MsoNormal"><b>Turing’s Spotlight Series<o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The Comms team would love one or two suggestions from each university partner of researchers (inc Turing Fellows) they could feature. They are ideally looking for:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">• People with a Turing affiliation (ideally a title like ‘Turing Fellow’)<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:36.0pt;text-indent:-36.0pt">• Diverse scientific backgrounds, potentially current research, and with an applied aspect to the research with the potential to impact people's day to day lives (such as health)<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">• An upbeat personality which helps brings warmth to the series<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">• Researchers from around the Turing's network. They can be at different points in their career and don’t have to be well known .<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The comms team conduct the ‘interview’ via email so the researcher doesn’t have to commit to a specific time.
