Dear Fellows

As you are probably aware, AI UK 2021 will take place virtually next year from 23-24 March

https://www.turing.ac.uk/ai-uk<https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.turing.ac.uk%2Fai-uk&data=04%7C01%7C%7C6f2a125527d943cd0a4908d88a27b930%7C4a5378f929f44d3ebe89669d03ada9d8%7C0%7C0%7C637411250506578003%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=gX0eld9SK7WfyMpwsFRWb2HK0RGZQgvHCHJQXPGOz1A%3D&reserved=0>

The Turing have requested input to the conference planning and Peter and I would like to invite you to complete the short survey below by Friday 20 November please. This is to gather our priorities and ideas.

Please do not complete question 6 on the form, but reply to me with your input to that question (which Peter will then complete on behalf of all Fellows).

CAUTION: This e-mail originated outside the University of Southampton.
Dear Turing University Leads,

As we start to evolve the AI UK programme content and plan for a virtual 2021 event, the Communications and Engagement Directorate want to co-develop this with our research community and university partners. However, we know how time-consuming and inefficient it can be to ask you to attend more meetings and share information on the spot.

So we've made a short form<https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.smartsurvey.co.uk%2Fs%2F08JLF6%2F&data=04%7C01%7C%7C6f2a125527d943cd0a4908d88a27b930%7C4a5378f929f44d3ebe89669d03ada9d8%7C0%7C0%7C637411250506578003%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=iuqeLa2oMAOueu06B9RAzv%2FQdQeJAoliUMgS9ePxwXo%3D&reserved=0> - to gather your priorities and ideas to let us know how we can make this event valuable for you and your university - which is vital to the success of a virtual AI UK. For instance, how much importance should we place on networking tools? How would your university like to participate in AI UK? How short and sharp should sessions be?

We would be delighted if you could complete this 8 question form by next Friday 20th November and this data will directly feed into the committee.

Please also feel free to share this with your colleagues whom you'd like to share input, but do note that Turing Fellows (who will receive free tickets to AI UK) will be asked for their input via their registration, after an initial shaping of the event by stakeholder groups.
