Dear Fellows
There is still time for you to submit a demo for the AI UK Conference (24-25 March 2020). The last list that I saw didn't include any from Southampton. The deadline for submissions has been extended to Friday 8 November.
Please consider applying.

Dear Colleagues,
I hope my email finds you well and looking forward to a great visit to the London Office this week.
My email is a brief one to request that you reach out to your Fellows with a reminder of the deadline for submission for talks and demos for the upcoming AI UK showcase - Turing's first national event.
https://www.turing.ac.uk/events/turing-presents-ai-uk<https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.turing.ac.uk%2Fevents%2Fturing-presents-ai-uk&data=01%7C01%7C%7Cf93515a4391a44d9087508d75edbdd81%7C4a5378f929f44d3ebe89669d03ada9d8%7C0&sdata=WboU8Jyi5nwKDS6yTcMlRRHHXLv1XGM9Mlyx50nY3Gw%3D&reserved=0>
We currently have 33 talk proposals, but only 7 demo proposals. We feel we are missing the breadth of the university network, so if you have any ideas of colleagues who you feel should be in this showcase, as a speaker, panellist or with a demonstration in the exhibition, then do please let them know the deadline is soon approaching and we'd love them to apply. The application link is within the webpage and it's only a few questions - a very quick process.
In the coming weeks we will be revealing more about the event, including student engagement plans, and the very exciting programme.
Thanks all and see you this week
Joanna
