[Fellows-Southampton] Turing Workshop on Advanced Statistical Modelling and Machine Learning for Molecular Biology - 8th July

Dear Fellows

I'm writing to let you know that there will be a Strategic Priorities Fund, funded workshop, in Advanced Statistical Modelling and Machine Learning for Molecular Biology with Turing partners from the Crick, Laboratory for Molecular Biology, The Earlham Institute and others.

I have been asked to identify up to 3 people to attend from Southampton and to ask you to register using the link below.  I am first offering this to Turing Fellows before opening up to the wider Turing at Southampton community.  If you would like to register for the event, please let me know by close of play on Friday 24 May.  This will be on a first come, first served basis.  As soon as I have 3 people, I will send another email to let you know this.

Turing would particularly like to encourage a diverse range of attendees from biology, computer science, statistics and other related disciplines.

The workshop will consist of a series of short talks on current research challenges and will be followed up by a series of short workshop discussions.
