<p>I have done a none EPrints thing that maybe is worth a mention...
it's inspired by the work Adam Field did around using EPrints for
"microrepositories" which was using EPrints primarily as a
database of records from a research dataset. It was really good
for the user experience but very resource intensive to set up, and
usually the content never changed once the project ended. <br>
</p>
<p>My idea was to make a pure (lower case P!!!) Javascript
repository, using the same ideas as EPrints, but making everything
happen in a single webpage. You can see the results here

<p>My long term idea would be to make a tool that built these
repositories. Back in the day it'd have made a wonderful JISC
project.</p>
<p>The best bit? You can upload it into "real" EPrints as a document
containing the HTML, JSON and Javascript to make it interactive...<br>
