<p>I found no major issues installing on CentOS 8, which is basically the same. Installing EPrints 3.4.1 from tarball available on files.eprints.org [1], I first installed the EPEL repository and then installed the following dependencies:</p>
<p>dnf install perl mariadb-server mariadb libxml2 libxslt perl-XML-LibXML httpd mod_perl perl-DBI perl-DBD-MySQL perl-IO-Socket-SSL perl-Time-HiRes perl-CGI perl-Digest-MD5 perl-Digest-SHA perl-XML-SAX tetex-latex wget gzip tar ImageMagick unzip poppler-utils
chkconfig perl-JSON perl-Unicode-Collate cpan perl-Pod-LaTeX</p>
<p>I also needed to install the following CPAN modules:</p>
<p>cpan TeX::Encode<br>
cpan YAML<br>
cpan XML::LibXSLT</p>
<p>Beyond that the only real issues I found related to not being able to find the Crypt::SSLeay for the DataCite Bazaar plugin but I think this dependency has been removed in the latest version but has not yet made it into the Bazaar. Beyond that if you need
ffmpeg for video encoding then then the installation for that is a little convoluted [2].</p>
