<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">I think, in its default configuration, IRStats2 only counts downloads per eprint, so multiple files will get amalgamated into one count. It ought to be possible to tweak it to count per individual file, but
I haven’t tried or investigated deeply so it might be more complicated than my quick glance suggests.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">I believe IRUS also only currently counts per eprint rather than per document, although there have been discussions about amending the tracker to include file level detail.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">If you need separate download counts it would be easier to store them in separate eprints with cross-linking via related URL fields or similar mechanism.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
