Hi Thomas,

"problems" is a method defined in EPrints::Plugin::InputForm::Component
and EPrints::Plugin::InputForm::Component::Field::Subject is a sub-class
of this class via being a sub-class of
EPrints::Plugin::InputForm::Component::Field.  This means that it should
be able to use this method defined in the (grand)parent class.  Check to
see whether there is a "sub problems" in
/usr/share/eprints/perl_lib/EPrints/Plugin/InputForm/Component.pm If
there is check to make sure that their is not another
InputForm/Component.pm that supersedes this (maybe in
flavours/pub_lib/plugins or site_lib/plugins or under the plugins
directory in your archive) that does not have a "sub problems". After
this check that for your EPrints install that there is a

@ISA = ( "EPrints::Plugin::InputForm::Component" );

line in
/usr/share/eprints/perl_lib/EPrints/Plugin/InputForm/Component/Field.pm

and a

@ISA = ( "EPrints::Plugin::InputForm::Component::Field" );

line in
usr/share/eprints/perl_lib/EPrints/Plugin/InputForm/Component/Field/Subject.pm.

If everything I describe above seems to be in order, get back to me and
I will see if I can think of anything else that might lead to this error.

Regards

David Newman
