Hi all,
My colleagues and I have been sorting out some issues with mail getting
stuck on the mailing list application server. My colleague thinks this
is now fixed this with some hacking around to get a working version of
YP (NIS) [1] running on this server. The whole problem is due to the
mailing list application server relying on legacy servers that are
gradually being retired. However, the pile of spaghetti that is the
interdependencies between these servers means that there have been two
or three situations recently where mailing list email has been delayed
for several days. Hopefully, this should not happen again.
Regards
David Newman
