[EP-tech] Faceted Search, EPrints, Xapian

I'm not sure if this was taken into the EPrints core:
https://github.com/eprints/eprints/blob/3.3/perl_lib/EPrints/Plugin/Search/Xapian.pm

To enable it, you need a perl Xapian binding - see the brief notes here: http://wiki.eprints.org/w/New_Features_in_EPrints_3.3#Search_engine_plugins

There are also some RPMs here: http://rpm.eprints.org/ (in the 'xapian' directory), but I'm guessing they haven't been updated for a while...

Does that help at all - or did you know all that already?!

we thought we could remember a faceted search for EPrints, but google links to 404 https://github.com/eprints/xapianv2/blob/master/lib/plugins/EPrints/Plugin/Search/Xapianv2.pm

Does anybody now where and how?
