[EP-tech] more convenient search specification

Hi all,

we have a very long list of subjects for the advanced search specification.

Currently after pressing a letter key just the first appropriate hit in the first level gets the focus.
Our users would like to have a search (using regular expressions preferably) for multiple selections (using ctrl-key).

Is it possible to configure the subject selection interface more convenient?
