I found the solution from Lizz Jennings (e.jennings at bath.ac.uk) and John
Salter (J.Salter at leeds.ac.uk)

On eprints 3.3.12, just edit file :
~/lib/static/javascript/auto/70_autocomplete.js

In 70_autocomplete.js, you need to replace:
Position.clone( ...

With:
Element.clonePosition(...
